APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting 2026

The APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting 2026 will be the highest-level gathering on APEC's calendar during China's host year. Shenzhen will welcome leaders of APEC member economies on November 18 and 19 for discussions on economic dialogue and cooperation across the Asia-Pacific region. One of China's major technology and economic centers, the city will host talks on trade, growth, connectivity and other shared regional challenges.

The leaders' meeting

The November 18–19 gathering is the centerpiece of APEC's political and economic calendar in 2026. Leaders of member economies will meet to exchange views and address issues affecting growth and economic integration across the region.

Shenzhen as host city

Shenzhen, in China's Guangdong province, will host the meeting. Its role as a major center for innovation, manufacturing and technology provides a setting closely connected with several of the economic themes discussed within APEC.

Asia-Pacific cooperation

APEC brings together 21 member economies as a forum for economic and trade cooperation. Discussions among its leaders can help shape priorities for joint work across the region in the years ahead.
