Emirates NBA Cup Championship 2026

The 2026 Emirates NBA Cup Championship is scheduled for Friday, December 11, at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will decide the tournament champion among teams advancing through group play and the knockout rounds. The NBA has confirmed the venue, while the tip-off time and finalists will be announced later. Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler University’s home since 1928, gives the event historical context. The countdown points toward a title game linking today’s competition with Indiana’s deep basketball tradition. This is the tournament’s fourth championship game since its 2023 debut.

Knockout rounds

The competition moves from group play to quarterfinals and semifinals. Only teams advancing through those rounds will play in the championship, decided in one game rather than a series.

A storied court

Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler University’s home, opened in 1928 and remains one of Indiana’s most recognisable arenas. The NBA is bringing the 2026 title game there and expanding event programming across campus.
