VALORANT Champions 2026 Final

The VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026 Grand Final will conclude the 2026 VCT world championship season on October 18 in Shanghai. After a full international season and the group and playoff stages of Champions, the final two teams will meet in a best-of-five series to decide the world champion. The match is part of Finals Weekend, which runs from October 16 to 18 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Riot Games has scheduled the show to begin at 2:00 PM local Shanghai time, with an opening ceremony taking place before the decisive series.

The World Championship

Champions Shanghai brings together 16 teams from the four main VCT regions: Americas, CN, EMEA and Pacific. The tournament began on September 24 and represents the final international competition of the 2026 season. After the group stage and playoffs, only two teams will remain with the opportunity to become the VALORANT World Champions.

The Road to the Final

The tournament is divided into a group stage and playoffs. The opening phase features the 16 qualified teams across four groups, while the teams that advance move into the playoff bracket. The final rounds are concentrated at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, where the decisive matches of Finals Weekend will determine the champion.

A Best-of-Five Grand Final

The Grand Final is played as a best-of-five series, meaning the first team to win three maps will claim the championship. Unlike earlier rounds that primarily use best-of-three series, the final demands greater consistency and adaptation across a longer match.

The Grand Final in Shanghai
